.Be a responsible pet owner
Please be sure a Pomeranian is the right breed for you. Poms are a high maintenance dog and a full time responsiblity for the next 10 to 14 years. Bringing home a pom is a bit like bringing home a new baby, they need to be kept clean, well groomed, fed and have scheduled vet appointments. Poms should never be neglected or ignored. They need to be picked up and put down from beds, couches, etc. Poms require supervision in all situations.

Before bringing home your Pom
You will need:
- a sturdy, flat-bottomed bowl for drinking water and a similar one for food.
- a dog crate or carrier to fulfill the “den” requirements so important to a pom
- a collar and lead of appropriate size
- good quality grooming comb and brush
- toys are essential for poms
- puppy proof your home
If you come for a pom visit I can show you all of the things we use and what works best for a pomeranian. We send you home with a blanket, toy and food the pup/dog has been eating.

Pom Visits
A family or person looking for a pom is required to come for a pom visit before purchasing. It is a great learning experience for you to come and see all of my poms in action. I can show you the tools and procedure I use for grooming. We can go over pet foods, toys and all pomeranian requirements. You can see parents or at least pictures of parents of the puppy you are interested in. You can see how the poms are raised and the loving environment they are brought up in. All PomWind puppies/dogs are Candian Kennel Club registered, have their shots up to date and have been vet checked.
